October 2015

Well, October has proven to be a hectic but gorgeous month.

My first year architecture program traveled to Savannah, GA after Fall Break– what a lovely time to go! It was perfect weather, and the city was just as pretty as I remembered it from this past July.

I managed to sneak in some time one weekend to go by UNCC’s Botanical Gardens, and WOW was it not worth it! Amazing colors, wide variety of plants, and never a bad picture to take. It was also the first chance I got to use my new 85 mm lens– how exciting!

I had hoped to post closer to the middle of the month, but life didn’t work out that way this time. Let’s see what November holds in store!

I was so happy to capture this stream's movement! The edges that separate the water and the rocks make the picture look fake, don't they?

  1. These photos are breathtaking. Good idea about framing some of them. I would have never noticed all the things you captured with the lens of your camera, Kathyn. You are very talented and gifted. 😘Mom
