Mountains: July 20th — July 23rd

For my grandmother’s 85th birthday, lots of family members gathered in a tiny town in the mountains for a three day family reunion! It was so lovely to see her, see other members, and meet family members I had only heard of! (my grandmother was one of seven children, so there’s a LOT of branches in our family tree.) We stayed by a lake, hiked, and even took a train ride to see some scenery.

my grandmother's walker matched the door and I thought it was adorable.

there's no specific focal point of this picture, but I love all of the texture that the water, trees, roof, and dock provide.

panorama of a lookout spot near where we hiked one day. (if you're curious as to how to take a panorama on a DSLR like this, I learned everything I know from Phlearn.com they have a great tutorial for making a panorama!)
